Susan works closely with the State Highway Administration (SHA) to try to make travel in and through Calvert County safer on the state roads like Route 2/4; Route 231; and all the other numbered roads (a numbered road is a state road). Susan was pleased to participate in the opening of the Chapline Place portion of the Prince Frederick Loop Road. The traffic circle at Patuxent High School is functioning well. Susan looks forward to the groundbreaking for the Southern Connector Road (on Sept. 5, 2006). Susan worked closely with Huntingtown constituents to convince the Board of County Commissioners to reject a consultant-developed proposal for a bypass around Huntingtown.
