"During her term as commissioner, Shaw has always been a person to ask questions and probe issues without regard to following the status quo or just trying to make people happy. She has never been afraid to listen to constituents, whether they have positive or negative things to say, and she can be depended on to make sure the county government does its business under the light of day."
